PORTRAIT AND ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
Whether you are wanting to get shots of the family or wanting a more intimate session with your bride or groom to be, my Portrait Sessions are all about having fun and capturing the bond between you and your loved one(s). Let me help you emphasize your uniqueness and interests with funky ideas and themed photo shoots. AKP offers maternity sessions, family sessions, baby and toddler sessions (3 months and up), engagement sessions and bridal sessions. AKP no longer offers newborn or boudoir sessions.
Booking Anna Kinchen for a bridal session offers the modern day bride an opportunity to pose solo for unique images in her wedding dress. Conveniently scheduled before or after your special day, a Bridal Portrait Session allows you to spend a little extra time in “THE DRESS” without the stress or time constraints of shooting on your Wedding Day. Having a tough time deciding between hot pink pumps or flats under your dress, a cathedral veil or bird cage, hair up or down for your photos? A Bridal Session also allows you to experiment with different looks and trends without the second guessing!
It is important to ME that I capture everything that is important to YOU on your Wedding Day! I take the time to speak one on one with my clients about their weding day photography needs and their vision for their speical day. Venue walkthroughs and lighting research is encouraged and welcomed.
With Destination and International Weddings becoming the new trend, Anna Kinchen would love the opportunity to travel to your location to document your special event. Please email me to find out more about my Destination Rates.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
I love capturing people in different settings that are as unique as themselves. The setting for your portraits can be anywhere you choose: your home, backyard, a favorite park, lake, historic site, an urban street block, a southern plantation or a historic museum; your session can be as retro modern or vintage chic as you want! If there is a specific look or prop that a client wishes to incorporate into the shoot, the client is responsible for bringing such object/prop to the shoot.
WHAT TO WEAR
Unless you are aiming for a classic look, I love to suggest that my clients experiment with fun, funky and colorful clothing options. I absolutely adore vintage inspired clothing, rock tees, frilly dresses and even cowboy boots! For a classic look, simple, timeless clothing in solid, neutral colors photograph best. Denim or khakis with solid shirts work well for a casual look. Unless you are in your wedding day attire, jewelry should be kept to a minimum.
